This is done since out of 50000 seats available, 27% of this means roughly 13500 and your ranking is around 47000. In view of this, I would like to advise you to take a break, study well and appear again in JEE Mains examination of academic session 23-24. There are good chances that you will get through. Well , MSc Physics in VIT is very good . Rather than doing MSc in other private institutions , you should choose VIT. Here no specialisation in MSc Physics is provided. The lab facility is very good.
There are approx total 5000 seats available across all the campus of VIT and the number of seats for a particular course changes according to the application and the result.
you can join VIT even if you don't appear for VITEEE, because VITEEE is an entrance examination only for admission to B. Tech courses but if you are seeking admission in any other course like BA/B.Sc./B. Arch and some others then you don't need to appear in VITEEE.

Looking at the recent cutoff trends a percentile of 98 would be a safe score for CSE at INMIIT. The real cutoff may vary either increasing or decreasing in 5000 AIR , but a 98 percentile can be a very good estimate for lNMIIT CSE.
