As you mentioned well the two are different certifications offering different designations to work at. CFA is a complete Finance Analyst and is responsible to understand and observe the smooth functioning of the discipline and one with having qualified the CFA are the ones who are keen to make careers in investment and financial services. all of the above mentioned things has a good career option it depend whee you want to go
I believe, you have gain a lot of experience and now you should move to the advisory role.
for this, FPM (Fellow Programme in Management) from IIMs I see as a best option.
You can do it on campus and for that you have to leave your job and you can do FPM (Industry)
At present IIM Indore offers industry FPM
FPM is a research degree and it is equivalent to a Ph.D programme. Since you have 4 years engineering degree, you are eligible for this course.

Germany is a country known for its technical advancement and pursuing a networking course from Germany would really be beneficial for you. Also education in Germany is govt. funded so there is a possibility that you might have to give a minimal fee ranging from 140-500 euros.
As for employment opportunities, I would like to say that in Germany a student is allowed part time employment. A student in Germany can work 90 full days or 180 half days. So once you gain experience then getting a full time Job wont be much of a task.
