Choosing a course entirely depends on an individual's interest.
1)
** After plus two in Science (Combination : Biology, Physics and Chemistry) your cousin may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology). (ONLY if you fulfill the eligibility criteria).
** If your cousin is not interested in pursuing medical further, then he/she may go for engineering courses, such as civil, mechanical, electronics, etc. (Combination : Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) .
** Apart from doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations he/she can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas, such as, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration.
** Your cousin can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as hotel management, fashion technology, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses.
However, other than science stream he/she may even explore the opportunities Commerce and Humanities offer.

Scope and salary depends on an individual, if he/she has interest in the field then may get promoted and enjoy the benefits with increased salary.
