Dear Salman, it is surprising that even after completion of Ph.D., you are not aware of rule position. Firstly, it is not certificate in case of Ph.D. After successful defense of thesis, Ph.D. notification is issued. Afterwards, degree is issued. both of these do not require any kind of attestation by MHRD or any other regulatory body. Since, your university does not have engineering department and not approved by AICTE, your degree will be of science and not of engineering or technology. It also implies that you will not be eligible for the post of Principal/Director of an engineering college but besides that you will be treated at par with any other Ph.D. holder of the same stream and will be qualified to hold the posts of Asst Prof and professor.
