Your mechanical degree along with a MBA is a deadly combination. Having a mech. degree gives you knowledge and skills about machines, likewise a MBA degree will equip you with knowledge and skills to enter corporate world. For a mechanical engineer you can get jobs in operation field! (supply chain, logistics) etc. Also, jobs related to marketing in mechanical oriented industries! Wide scope is there after doing Masters in MBA. Having a MBA from a reputed University is an added advantage. Good luck!

GATE is generally an entrance test used for admission for PG courses in India. However, few universities in Singapore and Germany accept the GATE scores for admission. From Singapore, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and from Germany, Technical University of Munich and RWTH Aachen, Germany, admit Indian students to the post graduate engineering courses based on this exam.
