Please note that MBA is a huge investment of time and money and you do it generally once. Hence, try to get the best college you can. I am sure that with better and more focussed preparation you can get into the 80percentile tier which will enable you decent schools. In India, only the top 30-35 colleges are considered worthy to join and at your percentile, None of them will be accepting you. Hence, my advise would be to re-take the CAT. Also, apply for MAT as some decent B-Schools accept that.

I just want to tell you that last year the cut off was 86 percentile and it varies every year. So, this year you have less chances but can't predict exactly. Let's hope for best.
