Dear,
Yes. The SSCBS entrance test is open for both maths and non-maths students.
But being from a maths background is preferable as the entrance test requires decent knowledge of maths upto class 12. The reason for this is that the subjects studied under the courses BBS and BFIA require the understanding of maths topics of class 11 and 12, such as integration, differentiation, set theory, AP and GP, etc. at various stages. No, for B.Tech lateral admission, You need to appear in an entrance test conducted by Royal Global University followed by Personal Interview.
Or
The candidate shall have to appear in a State Level Admission Test conducted by an appropriate authority as recognized by Royal Global University.
