First of all, you need to understand the costs involved in doing Ph.D from overseas and decide on which part of the world you wish to do it, and why? Many feel that going to west like US or UK for their Ph.D will change their lives, but there are many harsh realities. You need to understand which countries are there where universities have good reputation in the areas of your interest, how much it would cost you? It may be in China or Thailand or Singapore or Germany or UK or USA or Canada or France or Spain or Italy or South Africa or Korea. What I am trying to say is that all these nations and many others have world class universitie

While I cannot tell you if its worth or not to pursue BA because I myself am a student. But I can tell you that people choose to do BA in subjects like history, political science, economics or even philosophy alongside their preparation for the exams. I think these subjects may help give you a broader perspective into the subjects, however, it depends upon your caliber and choice; if you wish to prepare full time or not. But since you have to have a degree in order to be eligible, I think, BA is a good choice.

Studies on a regular basis can do wonders. We often don't realize how much time we waste daily just by thinking about things we cannot do much about. Hence, just do it. Don't think too much on what all you have to complete, what all you need to revise, etc. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that you should not plan, but thinking too much and getting scared by looking at your to-do-list will only make things worse. Hence, make the to-do-list and sit down and start working. Don't worry whether it is too long, etc.
First things first. Focus on the present and make sure you are not losing on the current topics. Give them your very best.
