To take admission in Thapar School of management you need to have 60% marks in graduation with good score of entrance examination, you can either appear for CAT or can appear for Thapar's own management Entrance i.e. LMTSOM.

Hi Atul,
If you are considering to go for MBA degree then opt for pursuing it through the regular mode. There are many institutes in India offering several Management courses and to get admission to a good institute, one requires to write and qualify entrances as required by the institutes in particular to your interest.
Other than the regular MBA, there is an option of going for the distance/ correspondence MBA and the admission to the course is direct instead of clearing any entrances.
It is always advised to opt for the regular program as the same shall hold better career prospects and opportunities.

Hi Neha,
As you have got a pretty low score on MAT and your graduation percentage is also quite low, it seems difficult to get into a good B-School with these scores. Advisable would be that you go for some other profession of your choice rather than getting into MBA, but if you are very keen on getting into an MBA programme you can opt for Private B-Schools like IIPM, LPU, Skyline Business, Asia Pacific etc.
