IIPTS is an autonomous Institute which is not recognized by any of the Educational body namely UGC, AICTE, DEC etc. i would like to add here that few of the things which you should keep in mind while choosing an Institute: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae

Kindly confirm as to the country where in you plan to pursue because the culture in the west does not really recognizes it as a profession like if you are planning to work in the UK, instead of CA a certification called ACCA is preferred and like wise is the case in the USA.
CA as a profession is mostly acceptable in India in comparison to other countries and holds a bright career opportunity in the same.

Generally the transfer system from one college to another is not very popular in India, so, it would be difficult to change your college in the second year. I would suggest you to talk to your college about the same and if they are ready to give you TC(transfer certificate)without any hassle and the college you are planning to apply, is ready to accept you then you probably you would not face problems.
