As for my advice, I would suggest you to go for an internship in a good production house or an AD agency to gain necessary and much needed industry experience and afterwards you can apply for a PG in Advertising.
In Mumbai you can apply for XIC and outside Mumbai, you can try for SIMC, MICA, IIMC etc. For the list of more institutes, refer to the below link

If you are interested in Mass Media, then you should definitely go for it. Most of the reputed institutes offer a PG in Media and admissions are done on the basis of an entrance exam. -Yes, CPA can be good for you if you wish to settle in USA or Canada.For India,CA is preferred.
