Hi Atharv,
The Training and Placement Unit of the Institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations.
No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top ins

Vivek, Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new and wonderful careers in design have come up. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projection etc, besid

Hi Aryan,
IT (Information Technology) is a growing field, in India, and is looked upon, as one of the industries to provide jobs. A science student, interested in joining the IT bandwagon is usually confused between many courses on offer at the undergraduate level and might end up joining a course which might not be as beneficial as some other course.
One such confusion comes between choosing BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) or B.SC (Computer Science). We have listed some of the difference in these courses to help you reach a decision.
B.Sc (Computer Science)The B.Sc (CS) course mainly focuses on the mathematical and theoretical

You need to have a bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent with minimum 50% & above marks in any discipline recognised by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies.
You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date.

Hi Tanuj,
If you score well in SNAP exam and clear the cutoff, then it all depends upon how you perform in your interview. Academic score has weightage but that is low and is around 5-10 percent. Every Bschool needs mix of students including fresher and work-ex. So right now focus on SNAP and prepare well for it

Hi Tanuj, to be eligible to sit for NMAT, you must have a Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
Since you couldn't clear one of your papers on your first attempt, I am afraid you might not be eligible to sit for NMAT.
