There is no harm in trying. As per my experience, your brother has done quite well but this year, the board result is high. If you really need to get a govt. college, than you have to fill the form of all colleges. In this case, you should not be choosy. So many people will apply for the same course in the same college but you need to keep patience as your name is far in the merit list.

IPU main campus, Dwarka doesn't offer BCA. It has other colleges which are affiliated to it. Kindly check for last year's cutoffs and also the colleges under IPU which offer BCA, u can check them at-

By this rank, you can't get college on the basis of counselling through JOSAA so you try to get admission on the basis of class 12th board marks counselling process.

No, it will not be advisable. Regular MBA demands your complete time and attention. You will be required to clock almost 10 hours at college and pursuing PhD along with it will not do justice to either of the courses.

Try to do MBA after B.Pharm from a reputed college, if you are interested or else do M.Pharm. Opportunities are good in this field, the scope is very high if you approach the companies in a correct way. Start hunting for a job in your 4th year itself.
