There is no guarantee for a job, no matter the course you do. However, B.A. in music is a good stream and if you do it from a prestigious college, then you will have no problem finding employment. I don't know your location but Bhatkhande Academy is a good institute for Cultural Arts.

The last year cutoff for management was somewhere 146 for CSE. You can get through Management in mechanical, chemical or Civil or EEE. For general CSE, it was 160 though it slipped to 126 for CSE in 5th round. So, don't lose hope as you are likely to get ECE if the cutoff still dropped which has around 90% chances as every year.

According to the exam authorities, the syllabus of the IISER Aptitude Test is based on Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT syllabus and curriculum. Hence, the IISER Aptitude Test books for preparation should be of a higher secondary level. Moreover, NCERT books would also suffice as IISER Entrance Exam preparation the content. However, candidates must look for other reference books and attempt as much mock tests so that it can give the variability in the preparation. Candidates can refer the following reference books in the Shiksha link https://www.shiksha.com/science/iiser-entrance-exam-books.
