It is possible to pursue Journalism along with B.Tech but through Correspondence.
Also as a friend, I would suggest you to think about it again as both are totally different domains. Rather I would suggest you to first complete your B.Tech and after that if your interest still lies with Journalism, then you can pursue a PG in Journalism. Hi Lunial, the Univ is not located in India hence, can not have AICTE approval.
AICTE approval is for univ in India.
University of Karlsruhe (TH) is an accredited German Univ. You can get a list of recognised univ from DAAD.

I am not sure what you mean by external admission or for what program you are enquiring since you have not mentioned this. If it is for a BBA program, the fee is INR 3.8 Lacs for 3 years. If it is for the MBA program, it is INR 4.95 Lacs
