If you are already doing a Diploma in pharmacy, why dont you try and find a job in pharmacy sector itself, why are you planning to do a diploma in Education which will. If the reason you want to get into a teaching industry I would suggest you to do a B.Ed rather than D.Ed, as D.Ed may fetch you a job but only in preparatory schools to get into a secondary or higher secondary education Institutes you should do B.Ed. However, you can do diploma in education along with D. Pharma if you want to do D.Ed through correspondence.

What I could gauge from your query is that you want to change the industry but in the same stream. I would say the lot will depend on which Industry you want to explore if it is related to your own educational stream then probably you can do a diploma or a PG diploma course in Quality Management and go ahead, as this could be of help in changing your industry, but if you are looking for something in a totally different stream like Health then it would be difficult to get a shift as you need to have some education background to get such a shift.

As there are around 12 examination conducted by UPSC board, and every examination would have different pattern so the preparation pattern will also differ but the subjects which are common to all the UPSC examination is General studies & English. The areas which you need to work for UPSC examination are: your own subject area, general studies and general English.
For preparation you can either join coaching or do self study, few of the important things to remember you need to do a lot of hard work (as there is no short cut to hard work), proper utilization of resources and Proper Time Management. Also keep yourself updated

As far as the job opportunities are concerned, to my knowledge, if one has secured the gud %age in CA and has cleared it in one go.graduation and that too the diff btwen regular and hons. hardly effects.
