CAT AND GRE and not related to each other in anyway. CAT is an exam which is conducted in India for MBA whereas GRE is an exam which is conducted for universities in USA and Canada for engineering as well as management related programs. If you want to pursue your studies in India, go for CAT. If you want to pursue your studies abroad, go for GRE.

There is a lot of scope in pursuing MBA in Information Systems in terms of the Back End and Data related work. The coutrse is a mix of Technology and Management, but then the measuring of its scope will primarily depend on one's caliber and his/ her performance as well.
There are almost every organization offering jobs or related vacancies for teh MBA in IS/IT field.
To be able to pursue this course the minimum education requirement is a graduate degree holder from a reputed institute and to get admission one has to qualify an entrance in respect to the selection procedure of the particular institute.
