This is a private university and hence one must understand that it needs students to sustain her operations. In addition one must appreciate that students can seek admission for varieties of courses viz, undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral. University has streamlined her admission process. It's quite simple. One has to access online portal made available for this purpose. One must register by paying registration fees. Then the university will get in touch with students on their registered email id. The university may conduct an entrance exam and interview, both on the same day or only interview before giving admissions. Everything required to know is explained quite nicely and in simple language for students to understand. Just follow the steps. For those seeking admission in engineering undergraduate courses, no written exam by this university if student has appeared for JEE Mains or entrance exam conducted by state. Else students have to appear for exam conducted by this university. 

    Thus one can say that a student can not join directly. One has to give at least an interview before getting admission. Of course NRI or NRI sponsored students can join directly.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, asam Don Bosco University and Assam downtown University, both are private University in the state of Assam. The former was established in 2008 by the letter was established in the year 2010. Former has campuses at four places in Assam whereas the letter universities has only one campus in Guwahati near a place called Panikhaiti.

ADBU was declared as the "best private University in North east" once. It's current ranking is 39th amongst private universities across India while it is 77th for ADTU. 

   The campus at Azara of ADBU is devoted exclusively for engineering studies, from graduation till doctoral studies. This university offers graduation in engineering in almost all the current branches with post graduation and doctoral studies in many specialisations.

On the other hand, the only campus at Panikhaiti of ADTU offers graduation in engineering in less number of disciplines. 

    Comparing these two on different parameters one comes to the conclusion that it's much better to study at Azara campus of ADBU, as far as graduation in engineering is concerned.
