KNRUHS and Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences College are both the best in terms of infrastructure and campus life. They provide indoor playground facilities and traveling facilities like buses for day scholar students. Both colleges have their specialties the practical experience they provide in the college's where best helps to students.

Facilities common in both colleges

In today's education system the college's were collecting more fees from the students. Some private colleges are collecting too much which may not be affordable by a normal middle calss person so the scholarship system arrives. But in MEC Kochi the tution fee is affordable for M.Tech and its specialisations 

I will refer TKM if the candidate is really interested in CGPA in semester examination and also wants a good campus life which includes fests various events parties. TKM gives the best campus life as compared to MEC.

While in MEC, the course curriculum is completely based on skill development and improving personality. They also provide guidance in placement selection. MEC provides a great environment to study and the staff were cooperative and got high competition on improving skills.

The total number of seats available for BTech at MEC Kochi is 648. Seat allotment is done based on merit in KEAM exam and the number of seats available. The seat count varies from one specialisation to another. The table below mentions seat intake for some of the BTech specialisations:

The candidate can join MEC Kochi in M.Tech or any M.Tech speculations course by appearing in the graduate aptitude test in engeneering (GATE).

The candidate has to secure a minimum of 65% in the B.Tech or degree to apply for M.Tech in this college and also a minimum of 50% in the schooling time irrespective of any board either it may be of state board, CBSE or ICSE. THE total intake for M.Tech is 18 for CSE and 18 for electronics. The previous year cutoffs varies every year due to the completion of the course and the seat availability in the college.

This college offers students good placements and the students can start applying for placement from their 5^th semester onwards. Almost 97% of students get placed in the campus selections of CSE branch and also for remaining branches. The highest package offered is INR 30LPA and the average package is INR 8-9LPA.

The top companies which are recruiting candidates are Google, Microsoft, tcs, HCL, Amazon, Infosys in CSE branch. Similarly, Tech Mahindra, TATA elxis, TCS, Wipro are recruting in core branches. There is also more internship oppurtunities for the students who were in this college.

Modal engeneering college M.Tech and specialisations. The candidate can apply for this college by appearing in Graduate aptitude test in engeneering ( GATE ) examination and also he must have to secure minimum of 50% in 10^th and +2 examinations and also 6.5 CGPA in the previous B.Tech or degree cours they pursued.

The GATE entrance examination application starts in the month of August and it lasts for 2 months. The admit card will be released in the month of January and the examination will be in February.

MEC KOCHI offers various M.Tech courses. The student has to secure a minimum of 50% in their 10^th and +2 examinations and 6.5 CGPA in the previous examination they appeared like B.Tech or any other degree. This college also offers the specialisations in that field. The candidate can join this college by appearing in GATE with a suitable cutoff score. The rank of the candidate secured in the GATE examination is important. 

MEC Kochi offers various courses in B.Tech and M.Tech. The minimum eligibility to get a seat in this college is 50% in 10^th and 12^th examinations from any board of education. Additionally the student has to appear and get a required cutoff ranks for particular branch they are selecting. There is mandatory of physics and mathematics in +2 level of education with more than 50% of marks.

It varies yearly but it is bit difficult to get a seat in MEC KOCHI holding 75 percentile.

Candidates need to pass BTech degree in relevant stream with at least 60% aggregate to apply for MEC Kochi M.Tech programme. For SC/ ST candidates, a pass in the Engineering degree is enough. Besides, aspirants belonging to SEBC (OBC) need to pass the degree with a minimum of 54% aggregate. 

Aspirants who have passed AMIE/ AMIETE examinations with a minimum of 55% aggregate in section-B and a valid GATE score can also apply.

Besides education MEC also offers a good profile to the chidren by developing their skills in multiple field. After all this MEC College is far better than many other college in Kochi. It is one of the renowed college of the Kochi which built the future of the students. In terms of placement, MEC Kochi provides a better placement than other colleges. The highest packages of this MEC College is around is INR 31 LPA. The packages of this college is far better than other colleges of Kochi.

In MEC kochi the course fee structure of B.Tech 4 year programme total fee 1,40,000 INR and M.Tech 2 year programme total fee is INR 1,05,000. In TKM Institute, the fee structure of B.Tech is INR 8,410 per year and for M.Tech is INR 16,290 per year. So, if we  compare the fees structure of both colleges, we can clearly see MEC kochi is expensive than TKM Institute.

Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara doesn't not give admission based on merit in JEE main.The admission in this college is based on merit in KEAM.Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination for admission in various Undergraduate Engineering course.So you need to appear for that entrance exam. The eligibility criteria to get seat in this college is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent with atleast 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/CS and must have scored 50% marks individually in Mathematics.

Established in 1989, Government Model Engineering College is known for its teaching methodology. The institute has over 100 faculty members, 1500 students and 50 supporting staff. MEC Kochi is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and offers B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D programmes. MEC Kochi has been ranked 91 for Engineering. The full time fee of this UG Course is around INR 3 Lacs and it offers an average package INR 6.60 Lacs . 

The admission to the B.Tech course is based on the rank obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. Allotment to 95% seats of the annual intake is made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala from the rank list of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted every year by Government of Kerala. The overall cutoff rank for KEAM is 1562-25516 rank. The minimum eligibility for taking admission in Model Engineering College is 50% in 10+2 examination.

BTech admission at MEC Kochi requirements can vary from year to year and are influenced by factors like the number of applicants and the competitiveness of the program. In 2021 is 2400 and as for 2023 its 3296. I suggest you to check the latest criteria and cutt off 

MEC College considers GATE Exam as a national level exam for M.Tech admission. The cutoff marks for M.Tech admissions at MEC varies based on the GATE score and the specific discipline or programme you are applying to. If we consider range of GATE scores (28-32.7) as a general estimate, it implies that one would need to score within that range to have a relatively easier chance of securing admission to an M.Tech programme at MEC Kochi . However, this M.Tech course in this college is excellent.
