At MEC Kochi, the highest number of placements are offered in the CSE branch, but other branches also offer a good packages in this college. Undoubtly TKM is also an good college but whenever it comes to MEC College that is Model Engineering College then generally it is considered to be an better option and founded to be a better one than TKM College. In the current year of 2022 the NIRF ranking MEC College is found to be the 3rd among engineering college in the Kerala State. On the other hand TKM was found to be 8th position in the NIRF ranking. MEC Kochi does not offer direct admission. Candidates need to follow certain steps to join the college. Starting with fill out the application form for the preferred course. The selection for BTech programme Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted every year by Government of Kerala. Besides, admission to M.Tech course is based on GATE score. Once selected, candidates need to participate in counselling and seat allotment.

For now, Model Engineering College Kochi does not accepts JEE score. Candidates are offered seats in BTech based on KEAM score. Allotment to 95% (50% merit- regulated fees and 45%- full fees) seats is made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala. Once shortlisted, candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

The top course for MEC Kochi is CSE. Because the placement record is the best here. And the faculty is good compared to other universities. You get a better chance to show your out field with a technical field.
If you have a better SGPA than you can get a chance to place in an internship on your 6th sem that can out class your knowledge. MEC was ranked as 91 in engineering by the week and the highest package went up to INR 7.5 LPA.

Yes, MEC Kochi is good for MTech. The fees here are comparatively low as compared to other institutes. You can get a good placement here at about INR 5 to 6 LPA on average. The CSE branch here is the most popular branch that provides the highest package of INR 30 LPA.

In my opinion and according to stats, BTech CSE is the best branch in MEC Kochi. Placement is the highest in this branch over all other branches. A total of 416 offers were made and mostly in B.tech CSE branch. The average package in this branch is INR 7 LPA. The highest package offered is INR 35 LPA. You can choose this branch.

Yes, If you are willing to take admission at MEC kochi so, it a good option. The faculty of MEC kochi is literally good, teachers are so helpful and this college has strong placement cell run by students. The highest salary package offered is INR 31 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is INR 3.6 LPA. High reputed companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, Nokia, Synopsis, etc., hire from this college. About 70-80% of students got internships.

The life is great in MEC Kochi. The student teacher relationship is best here. There are many type of tech and non tech event like tech fest, food fest are organised here.
