If you want to pursue MBA further then BBA is a better option and if you want to go completely in commerce sector and not in business then go for B.Com. There are many good colleges offering both the courses.

Yes, you definitely have a good chance of getting in IBS Mumbai. As far as your marks are concerned they are very good. The only problem you might face at the time of placements is that some of the companies have an eligibility criteria of 60% and above in SSC, HSC and Graduation. Rest is all good as only few FMCG companies and some of the banks have this criteria. You are 100% fit and eligible for MBA and getting good placements by looking at the academic records .

Hello Harman,
Your grades are not the very best and so is your GRE which is not too high. I would have recommended you to take the GRE. Another advice check universities in Australia or NZ. US or Canada will be too competitive for you. If you have a very impressive statement of purpose you may still get through. Visit the university websites you are interested in and take a look at the average GRE scores of admitted students. You should also email the universities before submitting your application.

Many colleges have cut off of 60 percentile still you can check with some colleges like AIMS Bangalore, ABBS Bangalore and Christ University though I don't think the cut-off would be less this time.

The average package of my college ranges from Rs 5.5 lakhs to Rs 6.5 lakhs. Even if you are an average student doesn't matter, because average students are sometimes proven to have a good placement record . Hope your percentage is 60% and above in SSC, HSC and Graduation. If not then at least it is needed to be above 50% for getting admission in the Mumbai campus. Placements in MBA colleges are done solely on the basis of the skills a candidate has in him or her and secondly on the academic records which a recruiter sees while hiring candidates for the jobs. Even I was an average student during my school and junior college days. You ju

Cut-offs vary every year so you have possible chances of getting calls from IIMs other than Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta ones. These three have their cut-offs ranging in between 98-99 percentiles.
