This is a highly subjective question because it has been observed over the past years that category cut-offs vary alot. But your friend does have a decent chance of getting a call. Rule wise anybody can apply but in the end it is your judgement.

No doubt, CSE will give more opportunities to get a job into MNC's. E&TC is the next best after CSE. IT majors like TCS, INFY, WIPRO, Accenture, Tech Mahindra first look for CSE students and then for E&TC. Doing engineering from IITs and other premiere colleges like BITS, VIT, NITs will get you jobs in bigger MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Facebook. In my view, CSE has an upper hand as compared to E&TC if you want to get into an MNC.

Yes, with this score, you can get an admission. However, there's a personal interview round which you have to clear. You are eligible for the interview so be prepared for that. If you are a domicile of Haryana you might even get scholarships. As of now finance and marketing placements are good. Even 2 students from HR specialization have got good offers from People Strong during their internships. For finance, banks like Axis, ICICI, YES Bank have come for recruitment process. I hope I have answered your queries. If you have any queries please feel free to post.
Thank you and good luck.

Every university has its own entry requirement. You may opt for Masters in Dentistry, Dental Surgery, Dental Public Health, PG Diploma in Dentistry etc. Check Cork University Dental School and Hospital, Trinity College Dublin and the very famous Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCC).

IIM- Ahmedabad do not have a 0 fee admission. Students have to pay the complete course fee to study at IIM-A i.e. Rs 19.5 lakhs for 2016-2018 batch. IIM-A do have scholarships based on academic performance or financial status which subsidizes the course fees to some extent.
