Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-school anywhere in India, where one can get admission with those scores. And, the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; a total waste of both your precious time i.e. 2 years and money (in Lacs). I suggest you to either reappear for CAT (or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET and MAT.

Management Aptitude Test and Common Admission Test are the most preferred examinations for MBA admissions. Also, Xavier's Aptitude Test and Symbiosis will also conduct entrance exam. If you score good percentile (above 95 percentile) then you will get an opportunity to study in major IIMs like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Kozhikode, etc. Also, a good score will help you gain seats in major campuses like Amity, Acharya, Adarsh, PSG, etc.

Dear Narendra,
Don't take me wrong, but you belong to the general category (I guess), you need to score slightly more in CAT. Still, you do have good marks for good college. If you have significant work experience in your field then you may get admission in any of the following colleges:
1) Management Development Institute, Gurugram.
2) Great Lakes College.
3) Bennett University.
4) Faculty of Management studies-Delhi University (chances are low, but just try for that).
5) IIM-Kozhikode and Lucknow (moderate chances).
I hope that you can get admission in any one of the above-mentioned colleges. If you have 20 or 24 months of work experie

Dear Gurunaath,
Absolutely, you can choose any stream of management after graduation, but I cannot suggest that you go for this field of management after engineering. Engineering is the region where you have got the practical knowledge hence MBA in hospitality and tourism is irrelevant to your branch. However, finally its all depends on you and your future goals, but my opinion says that you should go for either sales & marketing or for finance.
Hope this helps. Upvote the answer if you feel satisfied. Good luck.

Dear Dolcy,
Not at all. Marks of pre-board don't matter at all for a foreign university. However, they 'may' ask for that. It's all at their discretion. You need to focus on your all round development, not just on your academics. A foreign university accepts the students who are very good in extracurricular activities apart from the academics.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
