I would say rather than consulting any one particular book be a constant news reader, read newspaper like Hindu and listen different News channels like BBC on daily basis this will slowly enhance your general knowledge, and when you do this activity on daily basis the facts will be registered in your mind completely and then you dont have to follow one particular book. You can also read different Magazines like competition success review to enhance your general knowledge.

This may differ on the basis of your registration and its validity to a large extent, i.e. If you are an enrolled student for the old syllabus in that case you are supposed to write the paper considering the previous syllabus but if you had some gap in the education and have missed on your registration, then you will have to re-register to the course afresh and this time as per the revamping of the syllabus, you will have to undertake new syllabus pattern.
Yet I would suggest you to first contact the University authorities as they can guide you far better in this respect.

As you have a Masters degree in Agriculture Sciences you can step into NGOs in Agriculture sector. Few of the NGOs in the Agriculture sector which you can join such as : Food and Agriculture Organization, All India Centre for Urban and Rural Development (AICURD), Action for Food Production AFPRO, Axiom Social Service Society, Arpan Seva Sansthan etc.

As Interior Designing is a skill oriented / vocational programme there are not many Institutes which will give you a degree programme in this, so the courses you will generally find in this sector are: Diploma or PG Diploma programmes, the duration of these programmes & Course fee varies from Institute to Institute. As far as placements are concerned it would largely depend on your own capabilities and capacity to perform that what kind of placement do you get, as no Institute guarantees you placement.
