If your reason for asking this is to know what stream you choose then my friend through science you can go with almost every profession. And if its only about the career perspective then it depends on what interests you have aeronautical engineering is more on the conceptual, analytical skills, you need to be extremely good in your performance to land up in a rather good college for such course. And on the other hand, I have a friend who landed up in the merchant navy and comparatively the expected level of intelligence and knowledge is low.

In short time, you can't be prepared for international colleges. It requires a lots of time with constant and continuous hard work, if you drop the B.Tech then for international colleges you must drop 1 year so that you can be prepared. In my opinion just do it on your own if you are not like your college environment. Just concentrate on your study do self study. But then also not works then just change the college and take the admission in lateral entry only of you complete your 1 year of B.Tech.
