NIT Rourkela, is known for it's placements, faculty and infrastructure. School of management has a decent exposure to business world. It currently offers the Human Resource, Marketing and Finance specializations. The average CTC offered is INR 6 LPA. B club is Business club formed by SOM, NIT Rourkela. B.Tech lateral entry is specifically designed for students who pursue Diploma after class 10th. Regular B.Tech gives you more option to get into the top colleges across the country via exams like JEE, BITSAT, MHTCET, VITEEE, etc. Not all top colleges accept a lateral entry. Hence, will recommend you to opt for regular B.Tech
Top companies prefer all, I.e. top college, good grades and sound knowledge. Top companies don't visit mediocre colleges. Hence, you have to be the best in all the domains.

This would depend a lot on your personality traits & interest areas. Each MBA specialization needs specific personality traits for excelling in the profession say if you are outspoken and like traveling, meeting people, take target pressure then Marketing could be a preference & is you are a peoples person wherein you like counseling people and act as an advisory & wants a desk top job bonded by rules & regulations then HRM will be exciting. In case you like finance & are good in Nos then you could also look at Finance as a specialization. So, do evaluate your inherent personality traits and then take a call.

Complete your course regularly. Means if you are directly going for 12th as a private candidate then your result won't be acceptable for medical admission if you want to do medical degrees. When you are giving 12th standard you should be of 17 years running. This is basic rule of school education department.

In my perspective, one of the key things that matter to take up any course/certification/higher education should be your personal interest and skill sets in the filed that you are intending to pursue. Research a lot before take up higher studies and to understand exactly what you are looking for and why.
