Both the institutes you mentioned are good institutes to pursue studies, the institute has good teaching faculty and infrastructure.

Criteria for IAS exam:-o appear in IAS exam you should have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognize University.If you are in final year you can also eligible to apply for the examination.
Age:The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination.
This exam is divided in to 2 parts:-1)Preliminary exam & 2)Final exam
In preliminary exam there is on 2 papers:-General knowledge&Optional paper-choose by candidate.

As you are already associated to the Media world; your chances of getting into the glamours world of acting is high! Acting is a very challenging profession and requires a lot of talent and hard work. Few qualities that a good actor should posses are, A photogenic Face, good looks, good height, attractive voice, an appealing attitude etc. If you have all the above mentioned qualities then I would suggest you to join a good acting institute to groom yourself.
Also I would advice you to get a portfolio done and submit it in various Fashion houses, AD agencies and Modeling agencies, as AD and Modeling usually provides the platform for Acting in movies.
