If you are from Kashmir, then Srinagar becomes home state NIT. Percentile required will be higher. But, then you have obtained a very good percentile. I feel you should be able to get admission without any hassle. Rank, around 1 lac (Marks-75) will get you seat in NIT Warangal with branch BIOTECHNOLGY (Least preferred branch). Rank around 70-80 K (Marks-85) will get you branches like Civil and Chemical. Rank around 40-50 K (Marks-100) will get you branches like Mechanical and electrical. Rank around 30K ( Marks-125) will get you ECE branch. Rank around 10K (Marks-175) will get you CSE branch. Marks that I have written is with respect to JEE 2018. Above stats are for other state student. Home state students will get little relaxation on ranks. The eligibility criteria is: - Bachelor degree in science, medical science, engineering, veterinary science, agriculture, forestry, pharmacy, social science and computer science or degrees recognized as equivalent thereof. Applicants from the fields of engineering, social science, computer science, etc. should have biology as one of the subjects in Higher Secondary Education Board or other equivalent board. Minimum of 15 years of formal education (either 10+2+3 or 11+2+2).
