3. Numerous guest talks and lectures happens all over year by the renowned people of corporate world and industry.
4. Teacher to Student ratio is very good, it's 1:8.

It depends. Are you from Tamil Nadu? If yes, then it's enough to have a rank below 6000 or 7000 for a department of your choice. If you want a department of your choice (the popular ones i.e. , ECE CSE mech), around 3000 will be your last resort. But there's also an option to change your department after 1st year, basic requirement being not having any backlogs. Also, there'll be competition. So, GPA above 8 in 1st year helps.

Hello Roshan,
I am afraid your 45% in the qualifying exam of class 12th will turn out to be your undoing. The eligibility conditions states that the general category students must obtain at least 50% marks in the class 12th examination. However, I would like to advise you that engineering is not the end of life. There are plenty of other courses available under any university and which are equally good as far as the career is concerned. You must choose subject and stream of graduation about which you have fascination or you like it greatly. This will help you lessen the stress for studies and will start enjoying it and it will definite
