These days for getting admission in any of the engineering colleges including Deemed to be university is via the exams conducted by the Deemed to be universities or the concerned state governments or the association of private colleges. The only other way of getting admission if you have not appeared for any such exam is to seek Admission under what is called as management quota seats for this you have to approach the concerned University directly. You have a good cut off score. But, to get admission at MIT, you need to have still more higher cut off score if you belong to OC or BC. With this cut off, if you belong to SC or ST, then you have good chances of getting a seat at MIT-Chennai.

I am not sure, but surely you will get some sort of discount in your fee.

Of course, you can get admission for B.Com with such a nice score.
