There are various fashion design course options available such as degree, diploma, certificate, etc. You may opt for the one which matches your interest, attributes, time availability and long term career goal.
To join the course, the minimum eligibility is plus two with 50%. However, I would suggest you to directly contact the institute officials for specific admission procedure as it differs from one institute to another.

Scope :
As a fashion designer you may find employment with :
-Professional designers as apprentices
-Manufacturing units
-Export houses
-Boutiques
-Media as costume designers
You may even opt for freelancing and at the same time it is a rewarding possibility for self employment by opening your own boutique.

Be positive and move with the right attitude and aptitude.
The basic thing you need to be aware of is the significance of the exam. You require a focused plan and for the same create a time table. You can separate each subject and study accordingly. You can take small footsteps and achieve a lot within a small time.
Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books for Prelims
*Start preparing at least 10 months before
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections early
*Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach for IAS prelims
*Balance paper 1 and 2

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The objectives of the program are to identify the students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their potential in their studies; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
The advertisement for the KVPY Fellowship appears in all the national dailies normally on the Technology Day the May 11 and Second Sunday of July every year.
There are 3 basic eligibility criteria:
Stream SA:
Students enrolled in the XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2012-13 and have secured a minimum of 80% (70% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board Examination.
Stream SX:
Students enrolled in XII Standard/ (+2) (Science subjects) during the academic year 2012–13 and aspiring to join an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./Int. M.Sc./M.S.) for the session 2013–14 provided they have secured a minimum of 80% (70% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board Examination.
Stream SB: Students enrolled in the 1st year of B. Sc./B.S./Int. M.Sc./M.S. during the academic year 2012–13 and have secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in SCIENCE subjects in the XII Standard Board Examination.

Course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.
The course can be pursued at institutes such as :
-School of Aviation Science and Technology,
-Delhi Flying Club, Delhi;
-Indian Institute of Aeronautical engineering, Dehradun;
-Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology, Chennai and many others.
