As per your query I would suggest you that, if you wish to give CAT exam in 2012, then you may surely take coaching as soon as possible.
However, as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 1-2 years after completing your graduation and then opt for MBA.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which specialization to opt while pursuing MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
- The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have advantage over candidates with no work experience.

Hello Sai, I’m sorry to say but your IELTS score is too low for gaining visa as well as admissions in any University or College in Australia. The best option I can give is you re-appear for your IELTS and get at least 6.0 Bands if applying for a Graduate Degree or 6.5 Bands for a Masters Degree.

As per the CBSE website -
Improvement of Performance in CBSE :
Important Points :
* Improvement Exams takes place next year in March and results will be declared in May. Means you get a whole year to prepare for the improvement exam.
* You can appear for improvement exam for any one or all of the passing subjects and not in the subjects in which you have been declared fail.
* You have to submit a fee of Rs.200 per subject to the CBSE Board.
* Forms will be released by CBSE from August till October and can be collected from School or CBSE Regional office.
* Students may appear in the failing subject (Sixth subject) at the Compartment Examination to be held in July/August the same year.
* Candidates who appear for improvement of performance will be issued only Statement of Marks reflecting the marks of the improvement examination.
