In order to pursue masters degree from universities in Canada, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests:
1. GRE scores of 300-320 plus.
2. TOEFL score of 80-90 plus or IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from university to university.
Please remember application deadlines in Canadian universities for international students are set by the department delivering each program, and these deadlines may be as early as 12 months before the program begins.
So, in order to know the exact application deadline it would be always advisable to browse through the university's website you wish to apply.
Overall,universities in Canada have 2 admission intake in a year namely:
- Fall(September) intake.
- Spring(January) intake.
In most of the universities the deadline for fall intake is July and for spring intake it is November.
So it is always advisable to take these tests atleast 4-5 months in advance of your planned admission intake.
Please note that you do not have to apply to the college first, however while filling up the form for GRE and TOEFL you have to mentioned the names of few universities where you wish to send your scores.

To become an automotive engineer :
- You need to pursue engineering degree / diploma first with a strong base in Science and Mathematics.
- After graduation you can go for M.E./M.Tech in Automobile engineering.
- You may even opt for short / long term courses comprising of different levels such as designing, development or manufacturing with automotive. It depends on you where do you want to fit in.
- After the course completion, automobile manufacturing industries such as TELCO, L&T, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra, Heldex India, Bajaj Autoand Gabrial employ automotive engineering graduates as Senior Production Engineer, Quality Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, etc.
- Many engineers also join defence services of the country. Some even set up own business venture or take up traditional teaching profession.
- Remuneration varies depending on the size of the organizations, profile, qualification, experience etc.

To pursue B.E. / B.Tech, you need to complete 12th with minimum 60% (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) from recognized board to join good college. However, there are colleges which take students who have scored 45% - 50%. You need to appear in entrance exam.

Qualifying Examination:
