Hello Cathy,
I strongly suggest looking at community colleges in your area. For example - ITM School of Culinary Arts, They might have a good culinary program. There are more expensive schools that you can go with a little better but given that you'll probably 10-11 dollars an hour as a line cook right out of school is not worth it to accumulate a lot of debt to some fancy culinary studies. As compare to other culinary programs ITM is cost effective and also well beneficial for you.
