Mass communication has different fields like Public relations, event management, news reading, short film maker etc. All you need is to select one among the million and proceed further. You have to make yourself that strong and keep your skills set by so that companies will hire you seeing your resume only. Companies these days hunt for good skills and not higher degree, so if you have the right knowledge about the subject and you know how to complete the work you have already made your path clear. No institute can give you jobs better than what you will find for yourself of your own. They will just guide you to achieve them, rest all the necessary things such as clearing interviews are all kept in your hands. If you do well you are on and if don't then you shouldn't blame the organization for the failure.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth is a deemed university for women only that traces its humble origin in the death of young daughter of Pandit Heeralal Shastri in year 1935. Of course it has come a long way since then. It's a fully residential education hub for women / girls from schooling to doctoral programmes. It's indeed doing yeomen service to the female education in the state of Rajasthan which is otherwise not friendly towards females. This NAAC 'A' certified university has not only undergraduate, post graduate courses in design but has doctoral student also in this field. Textile is a very old industry in Rajasthan and its colorful dresses are known worldwide. With its pedigree and excellent academics, the university claims to achieve placements of almost 100% year after year particularly in this design faculty.To conclude, one can definitely say that for any girl candidate the biggest issue is getting admission. Then everything is super smooth including placements.

But the extra curricular activities are not that well-supported.Campus life would be hectic due to the tightly packed schedules of internals, labs, and various assignments, projects, etc. 7.5 CGPA cut-off for fee-waiver is another parameter determining student participation in various non-academic clubs and activities. For an ideal book-loving student, IIST would be the best option.

After completing the course of journalism you may get into the field of any print media organisation, electronics media organisation, or a digital house. One may be appointed as a journalist, photographer, correspondent, copy writer/ script writer, editor of any newspaper, news channel or website, news reader, anchor, copy editor, news writer for any website, cartoonist, etc. You may even work as a freelancer where you have the opportunity to work for several organisations at one time and get paid for your work. In India there are vast options for the youngsters as media is emerging so vastly in our country that the requirements are increasing day by day. There are lots of channels like Aaj Tak, IBN 7, India TV, ABP news etc. , Newspaper like Hindustan Times, Navbharat Times, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran, Mint, The Pioneer, etc. And even the magazines. This all depends on your choice and interest.

As a student of this institute, I can mention a number of things which can prove how magnificently the college functions. Putting some more light into the insight of the Institute I would like to tell that we never have a shortage of equipment and most of them are provided by the Institute itself. The teachers are fairly helpful and very good at what they do and try their the best to make the students equally capable. The shiny side is that, that the college not only works on the education or knowledge part but tries to build a different student as a whole by taking students to various fields trips which are worth visiting and not just that but by inviting expertise to take the lectures on various different topics! And the prime methodology is "learning by doing".

Engineering programmes are the heart of any institution and so is of LPU. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for wholesome learning, also LPU adapts new technology. I am going to share few facts which I know about mechanical department:-
A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Mechanical Engineering students at LPU are provided with enormous opportunities of placement drives. I can SEE my few friends getting placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Reliance Energy, Godrej, Sandhar Technology, XL Dynamics and many more. Even IT industries recruit Mechanical students here. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Are prominent recruiters here. I myself is a JOURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION student but I don't study in Christ or did not study there but I know what is the placement opportunities given to students in India after completing a B.A. Journalism from Christ university
PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIESstudents have been placed in well known organizations like NDTV, Zee news, Delhi Press, Ministry of IB, UC News, Times Internet, Purani Delli Production House, Haryana news, DNA News Agency and many more. I know these because my friend, completed graduation in B.A. Journalism and mass communication and is currently working with NDTV and is holding a respectable position in the mean time she is also preparing for Masters in this field.

It offers 3-year full time programme of Bachelor in journalism and mass communication. One must apply and register for the course and then he/she will get selected on the basis of a small interview and 12th marks. The student must have cleared 12th with 50% marks in any stream. The placement process is good here. Following are the recruiters visiting here - Vodafone, Airtel, Accenture, Da Milano, Shine Media, Google, etc. It offers Bachelors, Masters and doctor degree in the same course. The basic idea of the college is to provide students all the facilities, train with all the necessary skills and ethical values. Proper labs are provided, practical exposure is provided and there is a competitive course curriculum. Other facilities like gym, conference halls, computer halls, auditorium, recording room, etc. Are also available. On the other hand, Teerthanker Mahaveer University also offers 3 years full time journalism and mass communication programme.

It is needed in all the fields whether its corporate sector, government sector or any of the media related houses. But the post of job in that particular field depends upon your degree/programme plus your talent. After getting your degree in communication course you have abundance of options like script writing (for any radio show, television show, news show, movie or a serial), anchoring, news reading, news writing. Blog writing, copy writing, copy editing, cartoonist, animator (getting specialisation in it), public relation officer, in any government sector, for any political party, in any Multinational Corporation as a public relation officer, in advertising industry and any field which is related to communication. However, for getting a better post in the above said sectors it will be good to pursue a full year degree in the communication course instead of Diploma.

Institute of Professional Studies, Meerut offers 3 years programme, with distance/correspondence. Students must have cleared 10+2 (any stream) with 50% marks aggregate with English as a subject. Whereas Technia Institute of Advanced Studies too offers 3-year B.J. M. C. programme with same eligibility criteria. No doubt it is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University but it does not provide the facilities to the students. As per my knowledge both the colleges are not good for pursuing the course of journalism and mass communication because the help and facilities that should be provided are not the up to the mark. Moreover, there are no proper labs and instructions, no good environment as well as teaching standards are also not good. Moreover, students are prepared according to the professional course.

Indian Institute of Technology at Guwahati was established in 1994 in Guwahati in Assam. This was established so that students of seven sisters get an IIT nearer to their home. The next step was establishment of department of design. Idea was to train students in India itself who will be experts in varied and different aspects of industrial design. Initially, undergraduate courses began and then post graduate as well as research has also begun leading to awards of PhD. Brand IIT is all pervasive. Guwahati being industrial leader of North Eastern states also helps. Students are placed in internships also with different industries in India and abroad also. Placements are the heart and soul of any education institute of repute and IIT G is no exception. All students who register are placed without fail every year.

Hello, Although both the colleges are not good for BJMC courses.
But still, if you have only these two options to join then you may go with Institute of Management Studies-Noida. The reason for my saying this is lack of quality infrastructure and other resources for students academic welfare.
However, if you are bound to join IMS-Noida (due to no other options), then be prepared to stand on your own legs. The college is affiliated with a low graded state university (I.e., Chaudhry Charan Singh University-Meerut). You have to write a lot (I mean very long answers) to gain marks and pass the semester exams. But if you try hard then definitely you will succeed in BJMC. When we talk about the placement, its fine. If you have some sufficient industrial exposure with some big employer, and having something extra which can give an extra edge over other students, surely you will be well placed.
