Look, if you are going for B.Des course, then Amity is not considered as a relatable University. For B.Des courses, there are many other better options such as NID, NIFT, Pearl, Srishti, IIAD to just name a few.
So, if you really looking forward for design career and you want to do good in it, then I would suggest you to go wtlith NID or NIFT, depending on the course, try their entrances. If you really have that creative eye on you, you'll definitely go through those entrances.
Amity University is a renowned university, but it's always better to go with a course specialisation college. For eg. Colleges such as NIFT are specialised in design career, but if we talk about Amity, then it's not the same. The University offers multiple courses, so it's always a risk for students in going with them.
Whereas NID is the most appropriate college for product design in India.

Within a short span of time, university has started many courses in engineering, pharmacy, arts, design, computers, etc. Perhaps due to this, the initial batches that must have passed out since last couple of could have some grievances about nonexistent facilities. But as the time is passing, university is indeed providing all promised facilities. It has a tie up with a university in Montenegro, and this must be helping in formulating of better syllabus. It has two design courses in fashion and interior respectively. Specific to the design stream placements information is not available, but overall scenario of placements of this university appears to be satisfactory. Thank you.
