The questions around package and companies are useless unless you specify a domain/discipline (too broad, no insight). Several graduates tend to start their own studio. According to LinkedIn, 377 out of 3500 graduates are Entrepreneurs (Nowhere close to the 60% stat by Submit Shah, but I hope he can give some source). Popular companies (based on number of NIDians employed) are Cognizant, Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, Samsung, Godrej, HFI etc. All your main/sub questions lead to one destination that is how much money you can earn after graduating from NID. If you that's the only concern you have then start your own business to earn. NID won't

I am not very sure whether you can get good placement opportunities after completing Bachelor of Design from Apeejay Stya University. If you want to do Bachelors in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT, NID, IIT-UCEED. These colleges are design specialised with better career opportunities. You should do it from a worthy place where it's worth paying the fees and learning. These are all government colleges and one can easily get a starting salary of three Lacs per annum at least.
All the best.

Look, if you are going for B.Des course, then Amity is not considered as a relatable University. For B.Des courses, there are many other better options such as NID, NIFT, Pearl, Srishti, IIAD to just name a few.
So, if you really looking forward for design career and you want to do good in it, then I would suggest you to go wtlith NID or NIFT, depending on the course, try their entrances. If you really have that creative eye on you, you'll definitely go through those entrances.
Amity University is a renowned university, but it's always better to go with a course specialisation college. For eg. Colleges such as NIFT are specialised in

Within a short span of time, university has started many courses in engineering, pharmacy, arts, design, computers, etc. Perhaps due to this, the initial batches that must have passed out since last couple of could have some grievances about nonexistent facilities. But as the time is passing, university is indeed providing all promised facilities. It has a tie up with a university in Montenegro, and this must be helping in formulating of better syllabus.
