No, there is no other way to get admission in ICT, Mumbai other then JEE and MHCET. Here admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) for the 70% of the total seats (reserved for Maharashtra state candidates only). Admission for the remaining 30% of the seats (All India seats) is through counselling based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains. And if you think of Management quota seats then there is NO management quota for ICT Mumbai. Yes, you can certainly pursue Masters in Journalism if you have completed your Bachelor's degree (any stream) from a recognized university with a minimum score of 50%.
In order to pursue Ph.D in journalism, you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
1. Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minimum of 55% marks and an MPhil from any recognized University or Institution of Higher Learning OR
2. Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any subject, with 5 years experience in the Media Industry/Teaching/Research in Mass Communication.
