The Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a very diverse university which includes students who are situated throughout the whole of India and a significant part of them are the students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Although LPU does not release state-wise figures, each year, plenty of Telugu-students study in LPU, and, there are also South Indian and cultural student associations that make Telugu students feel like they are at home. This diversity establishes a cordial atmosphere whose students will easily get friends with similar backgrounds and will also expose them to nationality.

The distance between LPU, Punjab and Hyderabad is easy. A direct or connecting flight will allow students to travel between Hyderabad and Amritsar or Chandigarh, and within a few hours, they will arrive at the campus by taxi or bus. Trains are also commonly used and can be travelled between Hyderabad and Jalandhar or Phagwara. LPU is within a short distance drive of these stations. Having good connectivity, a relaxed campus atmosphere, and the students in most parts of the world, LPU represents a second home to the Telugu students.
