The ability to listen, grace and appreciation for the beauty of balance. Understanding of what's necessary for survival, power of gratitude and giving, ability to sacrifice for the higher good, connection to the woodland goddess, alternative paths to a goal . Only when we move through life in the spirit of love for all beings can we melt the barriers that separate us from others, from other life forms, and from the beautiful mystery which is our own magical and spiritual gift. although , I am not an IAS officer and the right person to guide you, as per my knowledge one should opt for the subjects which are going to be useful in case yuo fail to succeed in IAS exam. therfore if you are good at ur subjects and have intereset there is othing wrong opting your own subjects whic will make you stronger in your core field aprt from getting into IAS competitions. secondaly preparing in your own core subjects will further help you in getting into better college if you want to do Mtech, and it wil help while facing interviews for the jobs too.
GOOD luck
