LPU offers this programme B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (4years ). Fee of the program depends upon the marks secured by you in 10+2. University offers extensive scholarship on the basis of marks for meritorious students. e.g If you score between 70-79.99% in 10+2 then applicable fee after scholarship is 39,500 Rs per semester. And if you score even better say 80-89.99% then applicable fee reduces to 34,500 Rs per semester. For candidates scoring 90% or more, applicable fee is 24,500 Rs. University also offers financial aid too on the basis of a test named as LPUNEST (test for scholarship). ELIGIBILTY OF BED IN IGNOU i) Graduation or Post-Graduation Degree with fifty per cent marks: Provided that the requirement of fifty per cent marks shall not apply to persons appointed as teachers prior to the commencement of the National Council for Teacher Education (Regulations Norms and Procedure) Second Amendment Regulations, 30.3.2010 and Gazette Notification dt. 26.7.2010.
ii) Two years' full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school with registration number recognised by the respective Directorate of Education or Central or State Government or Union Territory. The teacher should be in service at the time of submitting application form as well as at the time of producing the original documents at the Regional Centre. The experience certificate should be issued by the Principal or Headmaster/Headmistress only. The requisite teaching experience of two years must be completed on or before the last date of submission of application as notified in the advertisement.
iii) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks for them.
iv) The candidate should submit their application form only at the concerned Regional Centre under whose jurisdiction/operational area the working school falls.
v) Masters' Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for purpose of Academic Studies in IGNOU.
vi) As per Government of India Notification dated 7th March, 2013, the concession for the wards of Kashmiri migrants for admission during academic session 2013-14 shall be adhered to with regard to the following:
1) Relaxation in cut off percentage upto 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement.
2) Increase in intake capacity upto 5% course wise.
3) Reservation of at least one year in merit quota in technical/professional institutions.
4) Waiving of domicile requirements.
vii) Candidates who appeared in the qualifying examination (Bachelor/high degree) and the result are awaited can also apply but must provide proof of qualifying examination before counselling for admission.
viii) There is no age bar for admission to the B.Ed programme.

The Secondary/Sr.Secondary certificate obtained form NIOS has the same recognition as certificates issued by other Boards. NIOS is vested with the authority to conduct Public Examinations at Secondary and Sr. Secondary levels vide Govt. Of India's resolution dated 14 September 1990. NIOS thus acts as any other National Board. Eligibility for CLAT undergraduate program is 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks (students taking qualifying examination in March / April 2008 are also eligible to apply) with Age limit: 20 Years as on 1st July. The test paper will consist of 5 Sections with objective type questions only.
