Sorry to say, according to my best of knowledge, the chances of getting scholarship are very low, because your percentage is less.

Hello Sourabh,
As per your marks and category, you will not get any good government colleges so try for colleges like JIIT, Noida, Galgotias and G L Bajaj if you don't want to take a drop.

Talking about placements in core ECE companies the scenario isn't really as good as expected since the cutoffs for this course are almost at par with IT of IIIT Allahabad. However, the students are permitted to sit for most IT companies coming to campus for placement and IIIT has a good placement track record overall. No branch specific statistics are available though.

Sorry to say, but 96 marks would not help you to fetch any of the IIT.
However, you can enroll for preparatory courses offered by IIT at this stage.
Best of luck.

Hi,
There are two completely different fields and couldn't be compared. It is a thing that you need to decide for whether you want to deal with people who are hungry for news or with people who are hungry for food. Understand your interest and then choose one because passion is the only key that leads to a successful career.
All the best.

DU is a huge university which attracts a crowd of students with higher percentage. And also there is reservation for Delhi residents. So, chances are quite less but you can give it a shot.

Yes, you can try for NIT's. Your category quota might fetch you a seat in one of the NIT's. NIT Hamirpur most probably because previous year's closing rank was highest for NIT Hamirpur.

Hello Aparna,
Yeah, for sure, you can take admission into IEM, Kolkata via your JEE Mains rank but for this you need a rank under 50000 to get any good branch, however, considering your rank your chances are nil.
