CA is the course of minimum 4 years. CA course is divided into Three stages.
1. First is CPT which is a entry level course. It has 4 papers i.e. Accountancy, Mercantile Law, Economics and Maths & Statistics. If you are a graduate than CPT is not mandatory. CPT exams are held twicw in the year.
2. After CPT, comes IPCC course. It has 7 papers divided in a group of two consisting of 4 and 3 papers respectively. During IPCC training you have to go ITT training. This exam is also held twice a year.
3. After clearing 1st group of IPCC or after clearing both group go for 3 years articleship training.
