CAT score is not the only criteria to secure admission in the colleges. Most colleges give some weightage to 10th, 12th and graduation marks as well. That said, getting a good college at 90% is little difficult. I would recommend that you evaluate all your options and keep them open now. By the end of cycle decide what is best for you.

Hello, himani
well the mat cutoff varies and any score above 70%percentile would have greater chance of getting admitted but it depends on your overall performance that is your mat/cat percentile, case analysis and pi so do well.and for any query regarding admissions contact the college. All the best

Hi Neha,
The selection process varies from college to college. Most of the colleges accept CAT as an admission test. You can explore MAT as well, as it is widely accepted by the government colleges.

Pranav

Hello, himani
well unfortunately your score of 10%percentile is really on the lower side for admissions criteria.but do not get disheartened you can still try from various other entrance tests like mat, cmat, atma. where you can improve your performance and can apply for the same but fill the applications forms of the entrance test as soon as possible so as you don't miss the opportunity. all the best do well

No, I don't think you will be able to receive calls from IIMs. IIMs have minimum percentage requirement in class 10th and 12th. These requirements are always higher than 60%. However there are other excellent MBA college that you can target that do not give much weightage to 10th and 12th performance.

Hello,
Since the cutoff varies from college to college, there is no fixed score as such. However, it's suggested to aim for the 80 percentile mark to get shortlisted for the interviews of a decent college. Thank you.
