I would say that for group discussion (GD) you must be aware about the current affairs and keep yourself updated with that. And for personal interview (PI), you must have a through knowledge about the basics in the field in which you did your graduation and you would be able to crack the GDPI process.
As for my experience, I would say that it was quite grilling but still I managed to clear it with my current affairs knowledge. I would suggest you to start reading newspapers.

Your question depends on whether you want to take up research or enter the industry. A degree in Biotechnology might give you an upper hand at an MNC, considering you would have dealt with a plethora of subjects. A degree in Biotechnology in general will also pave way for a career in research.

(a) 10+2 pass from a recognized board of education. Some airlines prefer graduates.
(b) Age of candidate should be between 18 to 25 years
(c) Min. height required is 157.5 cm and weight should be in proportion to height
(d) Good communication skills with mastery over spoken Hindi, English. Foreign language certification will be a good additional qualification.
In case you fit well in all these requirements, you should complete the 12th first then opt for any course.
