No, I don't think that coaching is must to crack the exam.
You can follow the below mentioned steps:
1. You just need to use best study material.
2. Solve previous year question papers as many as you can.
3. Stay updated with all the latest news, changes in the pattern and syllabus.
4. Give at least 6 - 8 hours to studies.
5. Take proper sleep of 6 - 8 hours.

Hi Pooja,
SAT and JEE are entirely different hence comparing them will make little sense. JEE tests a different skill set while SAT is entirely different. To do well in SAT, you must be extremely well in English and the level of mathematics is a little easier as compared to JEE for obvious reasons. That said, a very good SAT score can land you up in a top university in the world.

Hello Zangpo,
Its a matter of luck and your hard-work. No program nor university will guarantee you a job in US or any country. Universities in India I know have campus recruitment which is not practised abroad. It will come down to your networks - Alumni or employers, communication and leadership skills, academic performance to name a few. The business school here is also important, always invest in a good and reputed one.

Yes, you can get admission in all private college through management quota. In IMT-G people who join through management quota are called “Paua's”. It is fairly easy to differentiate the Paua's from the 97 percentile above people. During placements some companies make you write down your CAT percentile on your CV.

Well, the CAT cut-off could go as high as 95-96 percentile in UBS.
It offers decent packages. However, I cannot disclose the exact salary offered as our seniors are still having their final placements going on.

Ranking is not important. If the university has industry tie ups, then you can select that university.
