Frankly speaking, both are more or less same in terms of being good and reputed colleges of Pune in terms of education, placements and ROI. But personally, I'll suggest to go with Balaji as the corporate culture is better and lots of learning opportunities are there. But since you've asked about lexicon - yes, it's a good option because the focus will be on overall development of students and decent placements.
If possible, you should personally visit the campus to know better.

These days all the universities conduct an entrance exam for allowing students to pursue research projects culminating into PhD. Christ deemed to be University also conducts this exam twice in a year to select candidates who can seek admission into their doctoral programs. All regular colleges have cumpolsary attendance. You would want to pursue a distance course if you are a working professional and by my understanding, I think that LL.B. Is not offered through distance. Even if you are able to find a college that gives admission and does not count your attendance, It will not be useful as you will have to hide your work history.
