Hi Shreyasi, it is much cheaper to pursue MS in India than any country abroad. Not only this, you will not have to appear for several additional exams to get your qualification recognised in India. Whereas if you go any country abroad you need to clear a set of exams which can approximately take about 2-3 yrs and only then you will be bale to pursue MS/MD or even practise. Some part of the exam can be written in India but for the rest you will have to go abroad. It is only then you can begin your studies. So there is a huge expense involved if you would like to pursue MS/MD abroad.
Normally a minimum of 14 lacs is required to pursue any course in the UK including living expenses. But medicinal courses are expensive than this.
Postgraduate medical studies in the United Kingdom require taking Professional and Linguistics AssessmentsBoard (PLAB). Part 1 can be written in India, while Part should be written int he UK only.
