The aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects would be considered as best four subjects (BFS).
Environmental Education (ISC), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Painting, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing and all other vocational subjects are not considered as BFS. So you are eligible as your subjects (hist, geo, eco) are included in Political Science Hons.
I think there will be no reduction.

Yes, you can get good govt. colleges, be it NITs or autonomous institutes of your state where your admissions will be under home-state quota. Try for MANIT, MVNIT, NIT -Durgapur and NIT-Jamshedpur. Also, try for autonomous institutes of your state (which come under NIRF rankings under 100).
Best of luck.

Decent. There are companies like Abbott Nutrition, Boehringer Ingelheim (one of top 20 medicine companies in the world), GlaxoSmithKline, CTS Pharmacovigilance and other few companies which hire in the pharmaceuticals sector. Apart from that, you may find yourself eligible for a lot of well paying and exciting companies like MuSigma, Deloitte, ZS Associates, etc. And of course the mass recruiters TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc. Choose pharma if you want to study it. But if you have the only job on your mind and don't have decent JEE Mains score to get you through any NIT just join pharma at JU. It will still give you better placements th

First of all, there is no B.Tech course possible through open or distance mode. AMIE conducts its own exam as Section A and Section B and gives membership into the Institute of Engineers India. This membership is considered equal to BE. So you can attempt the exams as per your last qualification and receive a UG equivalent degree.

If you are pursuing political science and you have not studied this subject then there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your best 4 subjects marks, check against the cut-off released by DU.
If you change your stream then 2.5% is deducted from the best 4 subject's percentage. If you add physical education in best 4 subjects then also 2.5% will be deducted. For further information regarding deduction, visit DU website.

The best you can get is K.J Somaiya (being autonomous) and one of the best in terms of research and academics.
You can also go for PICT if you have great interest in computing and coding related fields.
Also, RCOEM will be a great choice with your marks, you'll get core in it .
MIT-Pune (be a bit expensive) has a good ranking and will be worth your education.
Also, do try for COEP till the last round, hopefully, you'll end up getting core or chemical in it .
Best of luck.
