M.Sc Chemistry is a 2-year career-oriented postgraduate course which comprises a broad variety of modules in chemistry from among which students can choose to specialize in any. The basic eligibility to pursue it is a graduate degree from a recognized college. The degree should be in Chemistry or an allied discipline. M.Sc in Astrophysics is a full-time postgraduate course which covers both theoretical and observational aspects of astrophysics, with the course modules consisting of one compulsory module focused on building research skills in Astrophysics, and a variety of different optional modules that focus on topics such as Stars and Nebula, Gravitational Dynamics, and Accretion Physics. M.Sc Mathematics is a postgraduate programme of two years, subdivided into four semesters. The main objective of this course is to give first-hand knowledge in advanced applied mathematics and forefront research experience. The basic eligibility criteria set is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with mathematics as the main subject, from any recognized university or board. M.Sc. In Earth Science is a 2-year long course divided into 4 semesters, minimum qualification for which is a B.Sc. In Geology from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. The course offers advanced insight into a number of disciplines such as oceanography, hydrology, geology, volcanology, geomagnetism, soil Science, and astronomy etc. To familiarize eligible candidates with the earth as a comprehensive system instead of isolated processes and fields.
