Hi Uday,
Your query is posted in a wrong section as GMAT is a Foreign Examination and the query should be posted in foreign domain, however, you can take GMAT as you already have 4 years of work experience which makes you eligible to apply to foreign B-Schools. You can also apply to few of the Indian B-Schools through GMAT but then that is only for Executive MBA which requires 5+ years of work experience. ISB may accept you with 4 years GLIMS can also be an option.

Hi Vikas,
Applications to the mechanical engineering graduate program are accepted from persons who have completed, or will have completed by the time they arrive, a bachelor's degree.
It will be advisable to complete your your Undergraduate degree in India, and when its completed you can apply for the Graduate course in universities abroad.

Its good that you have Chosen your MBA specialization in Operations management as I know that Operations as to really boom in India with bigger players like Walmart and Relaince Operations coming for recruitments and offering good packages.
I would still suggest that you should go for a course which makes you more industry prepared. For example I am a student at the Delhi Business School and Pursuing a MBA dual degree in Finance and Marketing. I would suggest you try for Delhi Business School which charges 4.2 lakhs for its two year MBA degree.

happy to see u continuing ur education, yes in dis competitive world graduation makes u bit more worthier.
UGC stants, University Grants Commission. which is responsible for maintenance of standards of university education. It provides recognition for universities in India, and provides funds for government-recognised universities and colleges.
as u said ur interest in computer i suggest u to go with a degree which covers ur interest like BCA, Bsc(IT) etc

There are a lot of branded colleges like FMS, IIFT, but its very difficult to crack them. I am a student at the Delhi Business School and Produly I can say its definitely one of the best schools in Delhi/NCR Region, because of its placements, its faculty and its course structure.
Will come to them one by one.
1. The Faculty - The school has great faculty many of whom come from aborad from nay interbational universities to teach. There are also many exchange programs with the Best Bschools of the world.

Although there are a lot of BSchools which take students on the basis on their CAT, MAt scores, heowever you would have to make your choices very wisely and choose only the best in terms of faculty, placements and course structure.

You need not to worry as there are still good business Schools which accept good students not only basis on CAT scores but about extracurricualrs scores, etc. So if you have exceptional extra-curriculars, you could thin of Business schools like DBS(Delhi Business School )

I would like to agree with the fact the dual specialization actually adds a lot of value to the indivisual and the kind of placements he gets. and with Indian economy growing at 8% plus, there are going to be a lot of opportunities in the space of finance and operations.
i can take my example here. i am a student of the Delhi Business School of Finance and marketing dual and because of this I got placement in HSBC financial services. At DBS, othervise also I got SAP/ERP trainng, and career services which really helped in getting placements.

Hello,
To get a i-banking job, you need to do MBA finance. When you are looking at options for doing your MBA, you should always think of the fact that its possible that One degree might not be enough to get you the best placements. What i am talking here is that by doing more than one degrees like Finance and Lets say operations you hedge your risk of finding a better placement.

Hello,
While i agree that FMS, IIFT and all are one of the best Schools in Delhi. You know that its pretty Difficult to get admission there.
I can just talk of myself, that I just had 70%ile in most of the exams and so I dint qualify for these Schools. it was then that i chose Delhi Business school(DBS) over others and now I feel its the best decision I have ,made in my life.
